BYRON – Two Mendota wrestlers saw their season come to a close at the Byron Class 1A Sectional on Feb. 9.
Freshman Ethan Hanaman won two of four matches in the 113-pound weight class. He recorded a pair of lopsided decision wins, while he lost by decision and was pinned in his final bout.
Sam Lawrence competed in the 152-pound division as an alternate and he dropped his only two matches by pin.
