MENDOTA – Nicci Gibson, varsity volleyball coach at Mendota High School, will hold a volleyball camp July 25-28 in the MHS gym.

The camp is for incoming fifth through ninth graders. Session one is for grades 5-7 and will meet from 9-11 a.m. each day. Session two is for grades 8-9 and will meet from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

The cost is $40 for one camper, $70 for two campers and $90 for three or more campers. Registration forms are available at www.mendotahs.org. Walk-ins are welcome and should arrive 20 minutes before camp to register.

Instructors for the camp will be MHS coaches and players. Participants will learn MHS volleyball in preparation for the upcoming season. Sessions will include the fundamentals of hitting, setting, passing, serving and game play. Participants should wear proper attire (no jeans) and should bring their own kneepads.
