MENDOTA – The Mendota Trojans will have five home games and four road games when they kick off their first football season as a member of the Three Rivers Conference in August.
The Trojans will open the season at home against Erie-Prophetstown on Friday, Aug. 27. Their first road contest will be against Port Byron Riverdale on Friday, Sept. 3.
Other home games include Sept. 10 against Bureau Valley, Sept. 24 against Hall, Oct. 1 against Sherrard and Oct. 15 against Sterling Newman.
Other road games will be Sept. 17 against Princeton, Oct. 8 against Kewanee and Oct. 22 against St. Bede.
The Three Rivers Conference is divided into two divisions. Mendota is in the Rock Division along with Kewanee, Bureau Valley, St. Bede, Princeton, Hall and Sterling Newman. The Mississippi Division schools are Erie-Prophetstown, Monmouth-Roseville, Morrison, Orion, Port Byron Riverdale, Sherrard and Taylor Ridge Rockridge.
