MHS District 280 hires personnel

MENDOTA – The Mendota High School District 280 Board of Education held a special meeting on July 13 to hire personnel for the upcoming school year.

The Board approved the following new hires:

Allison Fox, PE/Health teacher; Liz Zinke, special education teacher; David Roden, school social worker; Laura McNally, freshman volleyball coach; Cody Zinke, assistant football coach.

The Board accepted the retirement notice of Tammy Guerrero, school social worker, effective at the end of the 2021-22 school year.

The Board also approved the transfer of $400,000 from the working cash fund to the capital projects fund.

The next regular meeting of the District 280 Board of Education will be Monday, Aug. 15 at 6 p.m.
