The Mendota High School Fine Arts Department will present the 52nd Annual Fall Concert on Tuesday, Nov. 14. The performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the MHS Auditorium. Admission is free and the concert is open to the public. Featured ensembles include the Treble Choir, Concert Choir, Madrigal Singers, and Concert Band. Among the pieces to be performed include several folk songs, including Stephen Foster’s “Nelly Bly” and Percy Grainger’s rendition of the Scottish song, “Ye Banks and Braes O’ Bonnie Doon.” The Concert Choir will also perform “Shout Glory” by Byron Smith, an exciting gospel piece featuring soloists Payton Klatt and Jacob Stohr.
