ROCKFORD – Players from the Big Northern Conference battled players from the NIC-10 in two baseball all-star games on June 19 at Rivets Stadium in Loves Park. The first game was between the junior class all stars from both conferences. Mendota High School was represented by Bryson Prusator, Sam Becker and Ben Bokus. The NIC-10 won, 8-6. Mendota’s Cruz Figueroa and Paxton Kennedy were selected to play in the second game of the evening, which had seniors from each conference playing. The NIC-10 also won that game. Mendota’s participating all-stars, left to right, are Bryson Prusator, Paxton Kennedy, Cruz Figueroa, Sam Becker and Ben Bokus.
