MENDOTA – The Mendota Fire Department’s 146th annual Card Party & Dance will be held on Saturday, Feb. 2.
The day will begin with a Texas Hold ‘Em Deep Stack Tournament at the Mendota Moose Lodge starting at noon. The buy-in is $100.
The card party will begin promptly at 1 p.m. at the Moose Lodge. Euchre, 500 and Pinochle will be played. Sandwiches, pie and coffee will be available for purchase.
Vegas Night will be held at the Moose Lodge from 8 p.m. to midnight. Craps, Blackjack and more will be featured.
Also at the Moose, there will dinner served from 6-8 p.m. and then the band “Free Beer & Chicken” will perform from 8 p.m. to midnight.
Tickets for the MFD Card Party & Dance are $6 and may be purchased at the door. Proceeds from the event are used to keep firefighting and emergency equipment efficient and up-to-date.
