Iris Espinoza of Mendota tours the Hume-Carnegie Museum, July 31. The museum is looking pretty groovy as it continues its display of the 1960s. Included is information about the Vanguards and the Mendota High School Class of 1968 which is celebrating their 50th class reunion. The museum will be open special hours during the Sweet Corn Festival, Friday, Aug. 10 from 6-7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 12 prior to the parade from 12-1 p.m. and for an hour after afterward.
