Polo posted a 54-18 triumph over Mendota in varsity wrestling action on Dec. 20 at Stillman Valley.
The Trojans picked up three wins, with Tony Aughenbaugh earning the only match victory. He pinned his opponent in 1:11 in the 126-pound weight class. Other Mendota wins went to Quentin Bailey (220) and Arturo Serrano (285) by forfeit.

Mendota managed a split in a triangular meet at Putnam County on Dec. 22.
The Trojans posted a 24-18 victory over Ottawa Marquette. Aughenbaugh, Needs and Serrano defeated their opponents, while Dylan Davidson got a forfeit win.
Against Putnam County, the Trojans suffered a 48-18 setback. Needs, Aughenbaugh and Davidson picked up victories.
