MENDOTA – The Mendota Lions Club Honor Banquet was held on May 8, recognizing Mendota High School students for excellent academic achievement.

Senior students honored were William Bentley, Isabelle Escatel, Alexis Finley and Abby Kunz.

Students recognized from the junior class included Madelyn Becker, Bria Frey, Ava Jones, Emma Pierce, Natalia Salinas, Ryleigh Sondgeroth and Grace Wasmer.

Sophomores achieving the honor were Lily Bokus, Braiden Freeman, Anthony Kelson, Samuel Matura, Korinne Miars and Kaley Siemer.

Freshman students honored included Alex Beetz, Ruby Bielema, Kate Biers, Gracie Botts, Janae Carr, Stephanie Casas, Geovana Castaneda, Litzy Celis, Laylie Denault, JazLynn Gambrell, Sofia Gomez, Ella Lewis, Kooper Novak, Jessica Reel, Leah Stamberger, Aden Tillman, Carlos Toribio and Anna Valdes.
