MENDOTA - Members of the Mendota High School Band will sell candy bars door-to-door throughout Mendota and the surrounding communities on Saturday, Sept. 28. Band members will also be at the Mendota Farmer’s Market and at various businesses and financial institutions around Mendota that day.
This year, they will again offer seven different varieties of candy bars from Seroogy’s Fine Chocolates of Wisconsin. Seroogy’s makes fine confections in small batches from the highest quality ingredients, using traditional recipes and methods. The chocolates are homemade, hand-dipped, and of the highest caliber.
Candy bars are two for $3 and all profits from the sales will be used toward travel, receptions following concerts, guest soloists, camp scholarships and to help maintain equipment, instruments, uniforms, and decorations. Please contact any band member if you are missed on Saturday and would like to purchase candy bars.
