MENDOTA – Members of the Mendota Golf and Bridge Auxiliary enjoyed some great weather for golfing the back nine at the Mendota Golf Course on June 20.
On June 27, the play of the day was “10 penny golf” with 12 golfers taking part.

MENDOTA – Members of the Mendota Golf and Bridge Auxiliary enjoyed some great weather for golfing the back nine at the Mendota Golf Course on June 20.
Thirteen golfers played with the following results: Low Net 1st place went to Sandy Hanson, in 2nd place was Lori Schlesinger and taking 3rd place was Carol Erwin.
Low Putts went to Deb Stachlewitz and High Putts went to Jodi Manning.
The week’s bridge winners were Peggy Eller 1st, Carol Erwin 2nd, Thelma Hutchinson 3rd and Joyce Burright 4th.
On June 27, the play of the day was “10 penny golf” with 12 golfers taking part.
Winners were Deb Stachlewitz, who won with 17 pennies; Nancy Smith and Judy Forney, who tied with 14 pennies each; and Colleen Strouss had the fewest with 6 pennies.
Bridge winners for the week were Joyce Burright 1st, Thelma Hutchinson 2nd, Mary Margaret Schimmer 3rd and Peggy Eller 4th.
