Mendota Elks Lodge names teen award winners for 2021-22


MENDOTA – The Mendota Elks Lodge #1212 has announced its Teens of the Month and Teens of the Year award winners for 2021-22.

Teens of the Year were Alex Jagers of Princeton High School, son of Tom and Gail Jagers, and Kyra Stoller of Bureau Valley High School, daughter of Scott and Aimee Stoller.

Both of these students were the Great Northwest District Teen of the Year winners. Jagers also placed first as the Illinois Elks Male Teen of the Year and Stoller placed third as the Illinois Elks Female Teen of the Year.

Teens of the Month were:

September – Andrew Stamberger of Mendota High School, son of Jayson and Rebecca Stamberger, and Ashley Nordstrom of Bureau Valley High School, daughter of Pat and Karen Nordstrom.

October – Alex Jagers of Princeton High School, son of Tom and Gail Jagers, and Margaret Davis of Princeton High School, daughter of Julie Kuhne.

November – Wyatt Lundquist of LaMoille High School, son of Todd and Audrie Lundquist, and Kyra Stoller of Bureau Valley High School, daughter of Scott and Aimee Stoller.

December – Walker Menzel of LaMoille High School, son of Rick and Kris Menzel, and Kiersten Shevokas of LaMoille High School, daughter of Matthew and Katie Shevokas.

January – Austin Fischer of LaMoille High School, son of Brad and Amanda Fischer, and Marah Setchell of Mendota High School, daughter of Toby and Karrie Setchell.

February – Brock Foster of Bureau Valley High School, son of Jeff and Heather Foster, and Faith Anderson of Mendota High School, daughter of Mike and Kara Anderson.
