MENDOTA - L.E.A.S.E. will hold preschool screenings for Mendota District 289 on Monday, Aug. 24 and Tuesday, Aug. 25 at First United Methodist Church, Mendota. The screenings are for children who will be 3 to 5 years old by Sept. 1 and who are not currently enrolled in kindergarten.

L.E.A.S.E. will screen key developmental areas such as motor development, speech, language, vision, hearing and general readiness.

Due to COVID-19, only one parent may bring the child. Parents and children must wear masks.

All children must be screened to be eligible for the Preschool for All Program. If your child is currently enrolled in the Mendota District Preschool for All Program, he/she does not need to be screened again. Applications for Mendota District 289’s Preschool for All will be available at the screenings.

To schedule an appointment, call Maria at (815) 539-7362, ext. 310.
