MENDOTA – Winners of the Mendota Area Chamber of Commerce Valentine Baby contest were recently announced. Babies up to 36 months old were eligible to be entered. Votes could be cast at Midland States Bank, First State Bank, Eureka Savings Bank, and Financial Plus Credit Union for 1 cent per vote. Prizes were awarded to first and second place in each category. Proceeds from the contest benefit the Mendota Area Chamber of Commerce.
First place – Harper Ganz daughter of Nick and Briana Ganz of Compton
Second place – Amelia Nettleton daughter of Jake Nettleton and Patty Sibley of Earlville
First place – Landon Fancher son of Beau and Abby Fancher of Mendota
Second place – Remington Hall son of Jeff Hall and Jordan Nettleton of LaSalle
First place – Emmersen Piller daughter of Brad and Michelle Piller of Mendota
Second place – Delilah Trainer-Thompson daughter of Dan Thompson and Taylor Trainer of Mendota
First place – Emmett Mellott son of Matt and Brittany Mellott of Mendota
Second place – David Albers son of James and Elyssa Albers of West Brooklyn
