MENDOTA – Winners of the Mendota Area Chamber of Commerce Valentine Baby contest were recently announced. Babies up to 36 months old were eligible to be entered. Votes could be cast at Midland States Bank, First State Bank, Eureka Savings Bank, and Financial Plus Credit Union for 1 cent per vote. Prizes were awarded to first and second place in each category. Proceeds from the contest benefit the Mendota Area Chamber of Commerce.

Winners are:

Girls 0-18 Months

First place – Nora Grace Mann, daughter of Michael and Amy Mann of Mendota

Second place – Lyla Rose Miller, daughter of Jake and Leslie Miller of Mendota

Boys 0-18 Months

First place – Roman John Currier, son of Jeff and Erica Currier of Mendota

Second place – Grayson Kent, son of Tyler and Angela Kent of Mendota

Girls 19-36 Months

First place – Phoenix Sky Orseno, daughter of Angelica Medellin and Zack Filipello-Orseno of Mendota

Second place – Paislee Ann Harmon, daughter of Sarah Harmon of Mendota

Boys 19-36 Months

First place – Noah Michael Harmon, son of Steven Harmon of Marisa Evans of Mendota

Second place – Aaron Mclain, son of Keri Weber and Anthony McLain of Mendota
