MENDOTA – A “Meet the Trojans” night is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 16 at the MHS gym to preview the 2018-19 boys’ basketball season.
The evening will begin with a freshman scrimmage at 5:30 p.m. The sophomore team will have a warm-up at 5:45 p.m., followed by a one-quarter scrimmage between the freshmen and sophomores at 6 p.m. Then at 6:15 p.m., the sophomore team will have a scrimmage.
The varsity Trojans will hit the floor for a warm-up at 6:30 p.m. The team will scrimmage the sophomores for one quarter starting at 6:45 p.m. and then the varsity will have a scrimmage at 7 p.m.
The Mendota varsity squad will open the regular season in the Seneca Turkey Tournament to be held Nov. 19-24. The sophomores will compete in the Seneca Thanksgiving Tournament Nov. 23-24, while the freshman squad will begin the new season by hosting Princeton on Tuesday, Nov. 27.
