MENDOTA – The University of Illinois Cooperative Extension will have a Master Gardener at the Mendota Farmers Market on upcoming Saturdays. Your gardening, lawn and landscaping questions can be asked and discussed by a trained Master Gardener. Useful information will be provided at no charge. The Master Gardener will be at the Market on Saturday, Aug. 3, Sept. 7 and Oct. 5. The Market is located at 700 Main Street, near the Union Depot Museum, from 8 a.m. until noon, rain or shine.
