Mendota Area Senior Services hosts its first Mother’s Day Tea, May 12. Attendees enjoyed tea, sandwiches, and desserts. They were entertained by Kirsten Swed who played several classical selections including an original composition, entitled "Dusk." Ruth Dunlap was the winner of the door prize–a watering can filled with flowers. All the women received a flower and a favor box filled with chocolate roses to take home. (Photo contributed)
