LA MOILLE - Martin “Miney” Ultch, 95, of LaMoille died Oct. 10, 2017 at Liberty Village, Princeton.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Clarion with Rev. Kevin Weeks officiating. Burial will be at Clarion Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 13 at the church. Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota is handling the arrangements.
Martin was born May 14, 1922 in LaMoille to Harvey and Florence (Faber) Ultch. He married Marjorie Bauer on April 29, 1945 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Clarion. She preceded him in death on Dec. 24, 2015.
Survivors include one son, Charles (Rebecca) Ultch of LaMoille; two daughters, Susan Barkman of Rochelle and Elizabeth Ann Koch of Utica; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife and two sons-in-law, Gary Koch and Donald Barkman.
Martin was a graduate of LaMoille High School and farmed his entire life in Clarion Township. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading about current events, woodworking and traveling.
Memorials may be directed to the Mendota Lutheran Home or the Mendota Area Christian Food Pantry.
