COMPTON - Marian T. Jeanblanc, 91, of Compton, died March 8, 2018 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford.
At Marian’s request, there was no visitation or services. Private family burial was held at 1 p.m. on March 13 at St. Mary Cemetery in West Brooklyn.
Marian was born Oct. 2, 1926 in West Brooklyn to Laurant and Josephine (Bresson) Jeanblanc.
She is loved and cherished by her many surviving nieces, nephews, great- and great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Hershell “Bud” Jeanblanc, Cletus Jeanblanc and Ivan Jeanblanc; two sisters, Vivian Mullins and Fay Eddy; and her longtime companion, Leo Fazzi.
Marian retired as the vice president for Paw Paw State Bank where she worked for 37 years. She was also a life long farmer and was the director at NICE in Lee County for over eight years. She was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters for over 30 years and served on the organization’s State Court for 22 of those years.
