MENDOTA - Marian L. Rausch, 93, of Mendota passed away Dec. 8, 2018 at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 12 at the Merritt Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Porter officiating. Burial will be at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Mendota. Visitation will be from 10-11:30 a.m. on Dec. 12 at the funeral home.
Marian was born Jan. 2, 1925 in Rock Falls to Clarence and Bernice (Stroup) Wallace. She married Darrel Rausch on May 31, 1969 in Polo. He preceded her in death in 2016.
Survivors include three daughters, Sheila (John) Weiler and Teresa Robinson, both of Mendota and Annette (Ron) Smith of Dixon; two sons, Timothy (Rhonda) Carlson of Dixon and Evan (Linda) Carlson of Richmond, Ky.; 22 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; one son, Rodger Carlson; one grandson, Dylan Jones; two brothers Raymond Wallace and Marvin Wallace; three sisters, Lorraine Wallace, Donna Lattimer and Rosetta VonHolten; two daughters-in-law, Rose Carlson and Vera Carlson; and a son-in-law, Charles Robinson.
Marian was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Mendota.
