Lions to hand out food baskets

Posted

EARLVILLE – The Earlville Lions Club “Helping Hands” gave out 56 boxes of groceries to those in need this past December and will once again be giving out food baskets. Groceries will be distributed on March 24 at the former ambulance barn on East Street from 3-5 p.m.

Call Larry Beland at (815) 246-4210 to get an application form to determine your eligibility for food. Without this application form, you will be unable to recieve a food basket.

Due to the demand at Christmas, canned goods and perishable food donations are sought. Donations may be left at First State Insurance or at any of the local churches. Cash donations may be left at Pioneer State Bank in Earlville or mailed to the Earlville Lions at P.O. Box 669, Earlville, IL 60518.
