LELAND – The Leland American Legion Post 570 will have another carry-out rib dinner fundraiser. Last month’s dinner was so wildly popular that regrettably, the Legion ran out of food early. This time, tickets will be sold in advance.
The carry-out dinner will be held on Friday, July 31 from 4-7 p.m. Tickets may be purchased from any Legion or Auxiliary member prior to the event. Tickets should arrive this week. You may also purchase tickets at the Legion Hall from 8:30-10:30 a.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday until July 27.
Social distancing protocol is in place. For more information, call the hall at (815) 495-2263. The hall is located at 168 N. Main St., Leland.
Auxiliary meeting
The Leland American Legion Auxiliary Unit 570 has temporarily changed its meeting time to 9 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 13. For more details, call the Legion Hall.
