OTTAWA –The Illinois Valley Beekeepers Association (IVBA) will meet on Friday, May 12. Anyone interested in beekeeping and wishing to learn more is welcome to attend this meeting.

The discussions this month will include a review of “What do you Know?” the IVBA educational forum and beekeepers’ calendars.

IVBA meetings are free and open to the public and take place from 7-9 p.m. on the second Friday of most months at the University of Illinois Extension Office in Ottawa. (There are are no meetings in July and December.)

The U of I Extension Office is located at 1689 N. 31st Road, Ottawa.
