LA SALLE COUNTY - In LaSalle County, voter turnout in the March 17 General Primary Election was 22.54 percent.

Contested races on the Democratic Primary Ballot:
President - Bernie Sanders - 31.77 percent; Joseph R. Biden - 61.10 percent.
State’s Attorney - Todd L. Martin - 56.85 percent; Brian K. Vescogni - 43.15 percent.
Coroner - Rich Ploch - 62.19 percent; Lawrence Powell - 37.81 percent
Contested races on the Republican Primary Ballot:
President - Donald J. Trump - 96.93 percent; Roque “Rocky” De La Fuente - 3.07 percent.
United States Senator - Mark C. Curran Jr. - 33.58 percent; Tom Tarter - 14.02 percent; Casey Chlebek - 5.18 percent; Peggy Hubbard - 25.82 percent; Robert Marshall - 21.40 percent.
