FRANKLIN GROVE – Franklin Creek Conservation Association invites the public to join it for light snacks and refreshments at Franklin Creek State Natural Area on Saturday, Aug. 15 from 9 a.m.-noon. All are invited to attend this celebration of the completion of the Larry Dunphy Memorial Storybook Trail featuring the children’s book Miss Maple’s Seeds.
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, guests are required to register if they plan to attend. Reservations are limited to 50 people for each slot. There are two time slots to choose from (9-10:30 a.m. or 10:45 a.m.-noon). Links to register are on the association’s website at franklincreekconservation.org and on its Facebook page.
During the event guests will have the opportunity to help choose the next featured storybook on the trail. There will also be a reading of Miss Maple’s Seeds for each group. Those interested in attending should register by Aug. 13. Masks and physical distancing are required at all FCCA programs and events.
