DIXON - Larry D. Pritchard, 70, of Dixon, passed away suddenly Jan. 9, 2020 at home.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements were completed by Preston-Schilling Funeral Home in Dixon.
Larry was born Sept. 22, 1949 in Sterling to Herbert and Ruby (Meyer) Pritchard.
Survivors include his partner of 26 1/2 years, Judith Barrett; one daughter, Laurie (Jim Rodriguez) Pickett of Dixon; three stepchildren, Jodi (Glen) Hall of Ishpeming, Mich.; Blaine Barrett and Heather (Kyle) Zinke, both of Mendota; two grandchildren; 12 step grandchildren; one great-grandson; three step great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Herbert Pritchard and Roger Pritchard, both of Savanna.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Bill Pritchard; and one sister, Carol Stewart.
Larry retired from Raynor in May of 2016 after 42 years and was a member of the Carpenters Union. He was a member of the Northern Illinois Jeep Alliance Club for several years. In recent years, he enjoyed restoring old cars to their former glory, collecting and showing them. His grandkids were his life and he enjoyed spending time with them and teaching them many different things about life.
