MENDOTA - Mendota High School senior Natalie Landgraf was chosen to receive the LaSalle County Board Schools Committee’s “Student Excellence Award” for December. Students chosen for this award must demonstrate community service, portray social and civic responsibility in their school community, and possess an attitude conducive to a good work ethic and representative of an image the school district finds commendable. Attending the awards presentation in Ottawa were, left to right, LaSalle County Board Chairperson Jerry Hicks; Natalie’s parents, Mitch and Tammy Landgraf; Natalie; her grandparents, Alice and Jim Ebner; and ROE 35 Assistant Superintendent Matt Winchester.
