LAMOILLE – It was a dark and stormy night with impassible roads and impossible phones. There is thunder and lightning, gun shots and kidnapping, thievery and murder all rolled into one unbelievable evening.
Detective Nick Dashell talks his unenthusiastic wife, the nurse, into dressing as a zombie and heading for a nerdy costume party. On their way, the car breaks down, and of course, there is no cell service available. They make their way through the storm, on foot, to the nearest creepy mansion. Once inside they encounter some real characters. There is a stock matron, a smarmy English Captain, a Southern Belle, a Victorian Vampire, a zombie nurse and of course, a very sarcastic butler. All at once they have the makings of a wacky night of mischief and mayhem, cliché and comedy.
