Mendota High School senior Daniela McConville received the Klein Family Memorial Scholarship during MHS graduation ceremonies on May 20. The scholarship was presented by Rose Lewis. Following the ceremony, Lewis, left, congratulated McConville for her selection. To be eligible for this scholarship, a student had to complete agriculture classes at MHS, be a member of FFA, and be enrolled in continuing education for the pursuit of a career in an agriculture-related field. Dedication, a strong GPA, and an excellent work ethic also needed to be demonstrated. McConville is the daughter of Dan and Joanna McConville of Earlville. (Photo contributed)
