Kish to offer summer registration events for prospective students

MALTA - Kishwaukee College will offer several virtual Registration Events throughout the summer for prospective students looking to enroll in fall classes.

During the sessions, students will receive assistance in creating and using their myKC account, which is a Kish student’s point of access for e-mail, registration, class schedules, payments and more. Students will also learn about resources for paying for college and meet with an academic advisor to assist with the registration process during the virtual event.

“The Registration Event is an important first step for incoming students who may need additional assistance through the registration process,” said Graciela Horta, Student Outreach Coordinator. “We will cover all the information needed for a successful start on your educational journey.”

All events will take place on Zoom and consist of two sessions — one for myKC and paying for college and the other for advising. Academic advising appointments will be a 30-minute meeting in the listed timeframe.

Thursday, June 24 — myKC and Paying for College from 3-4 p.m.; Advising from 4-7 p.m.

Thursday, July 15 — myKC and Paying for College from 3-4 p.m.; Advising from 4-7 p.m.

Wednesday, July 28 — myKC and Paying for College from 12-1 p.m.; Advising from 1-4 p.m.

Monday, Aug. 2 — myKC and Paying for College from 3-4 p.m.; Advising from 4-7 p.m.
