Short-term training programs prepare people for a variety of entry-level positions in a wide range of career fields. They are also a great way to explore a career before committing to a degree program. Short-term training programs range from 4 to 20 weeks, including an externship. The programs prepare students to not only work in their field but also successfully pass their national certification exam. Completion of a short-term training program provides an entrance into a career path that begins with a skilled, entry-level position with the opportunity for further career advancement.
