Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Erica Bickford (husband Eric Halter) and Tijen (Terrance) Dyson; one son, Damon (Kristin) Wagner; five grandchildren, Skyler, Quinn and Kendall Bickford, Dane Halter and Cullen Wagner; two brothers, Fred and Andrew Wagner; two sisters, Margaret Martinkus and Linda Dreiling; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Kevin worked as a factory superintendent for Caterpillar in Montgomery for 39 years until his retirement in February 2011. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Some of his favorite pastimes included traveling with his beautiful wife, being surrounded by his grandchildren and cruising around in his factory 5 Shelby Cobra, which was a passion he began to enjoy in his retirement. He looked forward to his monthly breakfasts with friends and fellow Caterpillar retirees, where they worked to solve the world's problems. He also very much enjoyed his retired men's neighborhood coffee group in Yorkville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Jude’s or St. Helen's Catholic Church.
