PERU - Helping children preserve memories of loved ones who have recently passed away was the goal of a special event sponsored by Illinois Valley Hospice on Aug. 5. My Treasure Chest Workshop, which is held annually, took place at Illinois Valley Community Hospital’s 6th Street office building in Peru.
Illinois Valley Hospice is a department of IVCH that cares for terminally ill patients in their homes. They serve patients living in LaSalle, Bureau, Marshall, Putnam and southern Lee and DeKalb counties.
