MALTA – Kishwaukee College will hold its third annual Homeschool Visit Day on Thursday, May 31 from 8:30–11:30 a.m. in the Kishwaukee College Conference Center. The Homeschool Visit Day begins with check-in from 8:30–9 a.m. and will include a presentation on dual credit options, a student panel, and a campus tour. There will also be a resource fair with information on everything from financial aid to free tutoring.
Michelle Rothmeyer, vice president of student services, noted that Kishwaukee has welcomed homeschool students to campus for many years and that the College has seen an increase in the number of homeschool students enrolling.
“This is our third homeschool event at Kish. During previous years we received positive feedback from the families in attendance,” she explained. “I think most families were impressed with the variety of options on our campus.”
Participants should park in Parking Lot A and enter through Doors 16 and 17. This event is free and open to the public.
