The Kishwaukee College Board of Trustees bid a fond farewell to Gabrielle Cultra, student trustee, at the meeting on Tuesday, April 11. Gabbie Cultra, Earlville, had served as student trustee for the past academic year, attending the BOT meetings as the voice of the Kishwaukee College students. The Board had also nominated Cultra for the Illinois Community College Trustees Association (ICCTA) 2017 Gigi Campbell Student Trustee Excellence Award. The Board thanked her for her service and presented her with a plaque in appreciation. The new Student Trustee for the 2017-2018 academic year, Phil Oliver, DeKalb, was seated at the Tuesday meeting.
