MENDOTA - Kay L. Kromm, 68, of Mendota died Sept. 30, 2017 at St. Anne Center, Rockford.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 3 at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Compton with Rev. Jeff Schlesinger officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of services on Oct. 3 at the church. Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota is handling the arrangements.
Kay was born July 28, 1949 in Mendota to Delbert and Helen (Schlesinger) Kromm.
Survivors include one brother, Kim (Cathy) Kromm of Amboy; two nieces; and five great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Kay was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Compton. She was a 1967 graduate of Amboy High School and a 1971 graduate of Augustana College in Sioux Falls, S.D. She was employed as a purchasing agent by Sundstrand Corp. in Rockford before her retirement. She enjoyed sporting events, playing cards and bingo.
