The National Park Service’s Junior Ranger program is an activity-based program conducted in nearly all parks. The purpose of the program is to offer young visitors the opportunity to join the National Park Service “family” as Junior Rangers. Kids who take part will complete a series of activities, share their answers with the park ranger, and receive an official Junior Ranger patch and Junior Ranger certificate.
