MENDOTA - John W. Deaner, 77, formerly of Mendota, passed away Sept. 30, 2020 at his home in Sierra Vista, Ariz.
Private graveside services will be held at Restland Cemetery, Mendota. Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota assisted the family.
John was born Oct. 25, 1942 in Mendota to Willard and Elizabeth “Betty” (Woods) Deaner.
Survivors include one sister, Mary Ellen Ensor of Mendota; four nieces, Laura, Michelle, Nicole and Megan; and one nephew, Chad.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Lynn and Clayton.
John was a 1960 graduate of Mendota High School. He studied photography and landscaping. His hobbies were fishing and gardening, especially plants and vegetables.
