John Purvis’ Off the Beaten Path to be discussed April 19 at PPL

PRINCETON – John Purvis returns to the Princeton Public Library Thursday, April 19 at 6:30 p.m. to revisit the lost treasures of Illinois. Every town and village in Illinois has numerous memorials, statues, and abandoned buildings, each with their own tale. Off the Beaten Path in Illinois attempts to tell their stories and to bring those silent and mostly forgotten places back to the light of day to the wonder and enjoyment of a new generation. The program will revisit The Abandoned Train in Galt, The Blakely Rifled Cannon in Galena, The Hennepin Canal, and more.
