MALTA – The Illinois workNet Center/Kishwaukee College are holding a Community and Veterans’ Job Fair on Wednesday, March 28, from 9:30 a.m. to noon at the DeKalb County Community Outreach Building, 2500 N. Annie Glidden Road in DeKalb. This event is free and open to the public.
Job seekers should bring resumes, come dressed for an interview, and be prepared to apply for open positions. Employers participating in the Job Fair include Target Distribution Center, Menards, B95-FM, CHS Elburn, PeopleLink, WalMart, Help at Home, Rochelle Foods and many more.
Representatives from the State of Illinois will be presenting a free workshop on How to Apply for State Jobs from 11 a.m. – noon at the job fair.
Job seekers who need assistance in preparing their resume are encouraged to stop by the DeKalb Illinois workNet Center, 650 N. Peace Road, Suite B. The workNet’s hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30p.m.
