DIXON - Jean M. Tabor, 58, of Dixon, died May 16, 2017 at Serenity Hospice and Home in Oregon.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 19 at the Jones Funeral Home in Dixon with Rev. Rocky Fritz, pastor of First Baptist Church in Amboy, officiating. Cremation will follow with burial of cremains at a later date at Oak Knoll Cemetery in Sterling. Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. on May 19 at the funeral home.
Jean was born Aug. 8, 1958 in Dixon to James and Julianna (Heppler) Coy. She married Doug Tabor in Dixon on July 3, 2009.
Survivors include her husband; one son, David (Amy) Tieman of Louisville, Ky.; one daughter, Brandi (Nick Rowley) Tieman of Paw Paw; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her mother of Dixon; one brother, Joseph Coy of Leaf River; two sisters, Mary Louise (Henry) Eisenberg of Dixon and Cheryl Lempke of Rock Falls; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father and one sister, Carol Ann Coy.
