PERU - Illinois Valley Center for Independent Living’s annual fundraiser 5K Run, Walk, Wheel will take place on Saturday, July 21 at St. Bede Academy in Peru.
Check-in on race day will begin at 7 a.m. and the 5K will begin at 8 a.m. The race route will be through the cross country designated area at St. Bede.
Registration through July 21 is $25. Race T-shirts will be available to purchase the day of the 5K. Beverages and fruit will be provided.
A 5K course for walkers or those with mobility devices will also be available. Registration may be completed through www.runrace.net/findarace.php or by visiting the Starved Rock Runners Club website.
This race will benefit the programs of the Illinois Valley Center for Independent Living (IVCIL), which serves people with disabilities. IVCIL is a United Way agency.
