PERU - Officials from the OSF HealthCare Illinois Neurological Institute Comprehensive Stroke Center at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria recently visited Illinois Valley Community Hospital to congratulate IVCH for being a 20-year member of the INI Stroke Network.
Established in 1997, the network gives residents of central Illinois access to quality stroke care close to home by giving local hospitals quick access to clot buster drugs and a centrally-located medical center - OSF Saint Francis - where patients can be transferred for advanced diagnosis and care if needed.
