PERU - Book lovers looking for inexpensive summer reading will find it at the Illinois Valley Community Hospital Auxiliary’s annual book sale on Friday, July 27. The sale will take place from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the IVCH office building, 1305 6th St., Peru, just east of the hospital’s emergency room entrance.
Paperback books and magazine bundles will be available starting at 25 cents and hard cover books will start at $1. Puzzles, CDs and audio books will also be available.
Anyone who has books to donate to the sale can drop them off at the Auxiliary’s gift shop near the IVCH West Street entrance.
