PRINCETON - Mark Peterson, president of Intersect Illinois, the State of Illinois Economic Development Marketing Partnership, will be featured speaker at the North Central Illinois (NCI) Economic Development Investor Reception on Thursday, March 22.
The reception and update meeting will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Bureau Metro Center, 837 Park Ave. West in Princeton.
Peterson joined Intersect Illinois last June, after serving as president of the Greater Rochester Enterprise in New York and assisting major non-profit organizations as a Certified Fund Raising Executive. A graduate of St. John Fisher College and Kent State University, Peterson directs the Intersect Illinois staff on all domestic and international marketing activities and coordinates efforts with local and regional economic development organizations in Illinois, including NCI.
North Central Illinois Economic Development Corporation, now 18 months old, is the designated new public-private partnership to promote the locational advantages of Bureau, LaSalle and Putnam counties for new industrial investment.
