PERU - Another internal medicine physician, Jenecsis Castro-Skoglund, MD, has joined the Illinois Valley Community Hospital medical staff.
Dr. Castro-Skoglund works with Lyman Tieman, MD, in the IVCH Adult Medicine clinic, which is located on the second floor of the medical office building, across West Street from the hospital.
After receiving her undergraduate degree from California State University, Castro-Skoglund graduated from the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria. Following medical school, she completed an internal medicine internship through the University of California, San Francisco, and then completed her residency at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was in private practice in Peoria before coming to IVCH.
