PERU - Illinois Valley Hospice will host an informational meeting for prospective volunteers at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 7 in the meeting room at the Illinois Valley Community Hospital office building, located just east of the hospital at 1305 6th St. in Peru.
Hospice director Trina Hamrick is recruiting patient care volunteers as well as anyone who has an interest in becoming a member of the hospice advisory board.
A department of Illinois Valley Community Hospital, Illinois Valley Hospice cares for terminally ill patients in their homes. The agency serves patients living in LaSalle, Bureau, Marshall, Putnam and southern Lee and DeKalb counties.
