OTTAWA – John G. Holzman, 56, of Mendota, entered a plea of not guilty during his July 18 arraignment in Ottawa for felony criminal sexual assault and felony criminal sexual abuse charges. He is accused of alleged inappropriate behavior with a Mendota High School student while he was a teacher and coach at MHS.
A jury trial date was set for 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 21.
